It has been a little while since I have posted. I have been working on several pieces. I finished off the Punk Rock Plaid piece. Since then, I have also done a black bracelet called "Not Another Emo Cuff." I was trying to figure out peyote with other bead types. I really like the matte square beads for this.
I am thinking about doing other variations of this. Maybe with more colors.
This is a piece I did out of boredom. I wanted to create a super bright bracelet that was smaller then the others. Once I got into it the bracelet reminded me of a stain glass window. I am going to start doing a series of the thinner bracelets. I think this will allow me to offer some of my work at a lower price.
I really want my store to work and I think this is how.

I have created a new SALES section on my Etsy page. I reduced a few of my scarves and a peyote set. I am trying to have a wider range of pricing in my store. I think I am going to just create a $20 and under section. Because I don't really intend on raising the price again.
Maybe...

I just wanted to take a moment to welcome everyone to my new craft blog. I am going to be posting images of my current projects up here later.
I am currently working on a pink plaid peyote bracelet. I am thinking about naming it Punk Rock Pink.
I am also working on a scarf made from baby yarn. It is really cute and has a ruffle. I am really happy with the ruffle.

:: About Me ::
I never know how to start these. How do you sum up all of the moments and events that have made you who you are? So I will go with the highlights.
I grew up in a family that was involved with the military. I traveled a lot as a child. Frankly, I am thankful to have had the opportunity to experience so much. I spent time in Europe as well as the sought in the US. So I tend to lean towards things that are a mix of traditional European and modern southern life. I like to think of it as all the grace without the sexist or racist attitudes.
I have been an artist since I could pick up crayons. I am the happiest when I am creating. It is the expression of my emotions through art that let me feel the most at peace. So after many different forms of expression, I made my way to jewelry. I enjoy knowing that people wear and treasure the pieces I put so much of myself into.
I learned bead weaving mainly out of spite. I know it sounds horrible, but when someone tells me I can't learn something I have to prove them wrong. Then I realized how much I truly love it. I am now trying to focus on getting my Etsy store up and running. I have now gone through several layout, and a new routine of posting. I can only hope you enjoy the posts as much as I enjoy writing them.
